Kılıç Taste On Your Plate > Vine Wrap With Bass

Necessary materials:
2 pieces of bass fillet
250 gr of pickled vine leaf
1 glass of rice
1 onion
1 glass of olive oil
1 dessert spoonful of sugar
Salt, black pepper
Lemon slices
2 glasses of water

Wash vine leaves and drain the pickling water. Immerse leaves in boiling water for 5 minutes, then strain. Wash the rice and let it rest in warm water for 15 minutes, then strain the rice. Remove skin and bones off the bass fillets and cut them into finger thick pieces. Dice the onion, add salt and sugar, and fry in olive oil. Place the rice into a bowl, add fried onion, fish meat, salt and black pepper, and mix. Wrap this mixture in individual vine leaves, and arrange these wraps in a pot. Place thin lemon slices between the wraps, and cover them with a plate. Add 2 glasses of water and cook on low fire for 20 minutes. When the dish cools down drip extra virgin olive oil and serve.
